The “Tables d’Honneur”: a foodies’ paradise

Since it opened in 1990, the Almandin restaurant has given its chef free rein to express his creativity and to surprise diners with a unique “signature” menu designed around a flagship product especially for the occasion (truffles, lobster, champagne) or featuring a seasonal theme (Autumn, mushrooms, game...). The Tables d’honneur have become exciting gourmet events in the life of the restaurant from autumn to spring.

Saint-Cyprien by bike

The L’Île de la Lagune’s beach cruisers can be hired from the hotel’s reception. These light, comfortable curvy electrically-assisted bikes will give you a different way of visiting the surrounding area, at your own pace, as you enjoy the many ways in which the town has been adapted to guarantee that every cyclist always has a successful ride, such as the bicycle paths running all around the resort and the “Chaucidou” (chaussée pour des circulations douces -meaning “road for soft traffic”) scheme which gives priority to cyclists and pedestrians. Basket, helmet and padlock all supplied!

A little running or cycling for a few miles, a series of fitness exercises and you’ll be ready to get the very most out of a lovely day on holiday. From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day on the thalassotherapy spa floor.

Saint-Cyprien Golf Course - twenty-seven holes with a links feel

The Saint-Cyprien Golf Resort is just ten minutes from the hotel and offers a unique golf experience - two courses (18 and 9 holes) in an amazing setting. You can tee off facing the Pyrenees, putt between the shady forest and the Étang de Canet nature reserve… There is a genuine “links” feel and a worthwhile challenge for green regulars. Then of course clubhouse life also includes a golf school, competitions and tournaments.

Coastal walks

Those of you who love walking, getting out into the fresh air and panoramic views will find everything they could wish for here in the Pyrénées-Orientales area. The coastal footpath running from Collioure to Port-Vendres offers a chance to explore the coast and provides a unique view out over the department’s treasures (the Anse de Paulilles, Collioure lighthouse, the Racou beach, the Fort Saint-Elme, the royal castle, etc.) On the mountain side of things, the Lac des Bouillouses (overlooked by the Carlit) or the Canigou are waiting for you. Even if you don’t aim to climb right to the top, the Canigou offers some lovely places to visit in its foothills and, among the other things you simply mustn’t miss, a walk in the Gorges de la Carança, leaving from Villefranche-de-Conflent, offers a unique experience, with sheer rock faces, forest, ledges and pathways all in a setting where you'll find both the mineral and plant side of things to be fully preserved

You'll find everything you need to reacquaint yourself with the healthy feeling of doing some physical activity and the pleasure of sport in a natural, green setting.
